Linda Smull grew up in the 1950’s in Portland, Oregon. She attended the University of Puget Sound, then nursing school in Portland. After working for a year in pediatrics, she enlisted in the Air Force and spent 2 years at Travis AFB in California where she met her husband. Linda raised her children full time while they were young, then worked as a nurse and massage practitioner until retiring a few years ago. Linda is divorced, and lives with her partner Dallas, who is a favorite musical guest at Unity of Tacoma.
Linda began attending Unity of Tacoma in 1986 and has been active since that time, serving as Youth Ed teacher, librarian, choir member, drama team member, prayer chaplain and a board member for 6 years. For more than 40 years, she has been interested in reading and studying about spiritual ideas, and the more she studies, the more questions she has about the mystery of the universe.
Her desire to foster honesty and defenselessness in relationships, her curiosity, as well as the strong prayer presence Linda has developed over the years make her a true asset to Unity of Tacoma and its Board of Trustees.
