Originally from Texas, Rev. David W. Elliott lived and worked in Unity Village for more than twelve years as a manager, then as a writer for Silent Unity, before making his home in Tacoma in 2005. Stories and story-telling are a favorite topic of Rev. David’s, especially cinematic story-telling. He enjoys exploring the metaphysics of movies as well.
Rev. David loves to write, perform weddings, and provide spiritual counseling or coaching. Most of all, he enjoys connecting with people on a personal basis to discover ways to bring the Spirit of Life and Love into greater expression in our lives and in the world. He has an open-door policy and welcomes opportunities to talk to people about their spiritual journey whether in his office or over coffee.
Rev. David is married to Raylene Ewing, a Religious Science Practitioner, who functions as his Ministry Assistant at Unity of Tacoma. Together they challenge one another in their spiritual growth and deepening understanding of New Thought principles. Between David and Raylene there are five children, four(soon 5!) grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
"In my experience, the people who get more out of life are the ones with the questions, not the ones with the answers. I enjoy deep inquiry and invite that curiosity in others." Rev. David Elliott
